SHAPING LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES

Overview

It is common knowledge that a Manager may not be a Leader and a Leader may not necessary be a Manager. In our ever-evolving corporate world, talented individuals are often thrust into positions of leadership without being equipped with the necessary leadership capabilities that comes with experiences. Whilst we can’t (no one can anyway!) give a Manager any Leadership capabilities, we can however equip Managers with guiding leadership principles derived from research of millions of successful leaders around the globe.


What is this course?

This 1 day workshop is designed to give Managers a good understanding of as well as the application of the 5 principles that successful leaders around the world possesses. The guiding principles would serve as a foundation that newly promoted Managers / seasoned Managers can leverage on in their actions, plans, and communications in their current role and exemplify Leadership traits.

At the end of the workshop, participants will walk away with a personal commitment to each of the 5 principles.

Where appropriate in order to carry a point across to the participants, the following methodologies are used:

Please note that due to training effectiveness, we are limiting the class size of this workshop to 15 participants.


Subject Matter Specialist

GORDON AW is a director with Seed Management and presently sits on directorship of other companies in Singapore and Malaysia. Having had more than 11 years of leading teams and establishing networks for distribution in the region, Gordon has laid up a full credential of wisdom and knowledge in practical applications of Business strategies and Human Resource Management concepts.

Gordon is known as a talented orator and powerful motivational speaker. Being adept in English and Mandarin, Gordon is very well sought after for motivational talks in different settings. Gordon is also trainer of great passion. He is an experienced trainer of trainers for more than 10 years. His training and talks have brought him into China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, the United States of America amidst other countries.

With more than 12 years of training, speaking and consultation, Gordon has provided talks, training and consulting services to senior management and middle management of MNCs, Government Sectors, SMEs, and Educational Organizations.

Gordon received his first degree in Philosophy and Theology from Trinity College and is in a MBA program with University of Hull. Gordon is a certified NLP Practitioner and is a certified behavioural

His specialties include leadership, frontline leadership, communication skills, presentation skills, sales training, coaching, Balance Scorecard, Change Processes, Conflict Management, negotiations and team management amongst many others.
