  2 day Practical Workshop in Resolving Team Conflicts to Build a Winning Team


Introduction

This practical workshop helps you to manage disputes and disagreements positively and proactively, rather than reacting to conflict on a purely emotional level. You will learn new strategies of conflict management that will improve your communication performance, and ultimately increase the success of your business initiatives. You will practice effective methods of intervention and conflict management techniques to gain the co-operation and collaboration among your teammates.

About the Instructor

Dr Christopher Fong is Associate Faculty of SIM University, he holds post graduate degrees both in the performing arts and sciences, specializing in Strategic Leadership and Organizational Development. Associate Member of the renowned American Psychologist Association (APA).

Previously an international multi award winning orchestra conductor and leader before embarking on a second career in clinical counseling studies. He holds post graduate degrees both in the performing arts and sciences, specializing in Strategic Leadership and Organizational Development. Having been in various strategic leadership roles, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from a concert hall to the corporate boardroom. Advising and mentoring potential leaders both in the concert hall and corporate boardroom to achieve business goals and drive results.

As a consultant specializing in counseling and organizational leadership, he has developed various frameworks that are being used in universities schools of psychology. Being a domain expert and curriculum developer, he has authored several coursewares in human capital development, multicultural issues in counseling, organizational effectiveness, leadership and strategic change management.

As a member of the renowned American Psychologist Association (APA), his diverse portfolio includes an extensive speaking career, traveling both in Asia and Greater China. He lectures at business schools, speaking at leadership summits and presenting papers on Organizational Development and Change. A strong advocate of work life integration, he continues to pursue his passion by accepting international and local invitations to conduct and build symphony orchestras and advise its management on business sustainability.

He has coached and mentored leaders from organizations like Nestle, Knight Franks, Swire Group (HK), Inter-Continental Hotel Group, UBS, AT&T, Oracle, MacAfee, Ministry of Education Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong, Singapore Police Force, Swatch Group, Hong Kong Electric, Hitachi, Immigration Department of Hong Kong, Veolia Water, Japan Tobacco (HK), Shangri-La Hotels, Search Investment Group Ltd and many more.

Christopher is known to his audience as a radical and philosophical speaker. Taking a flexible approach Christopher’s sensitivity and comfortable personality helps him adapt his style to difference classroom needs. His soon to be published books “FACTs of LIFE” and “F.A.S.T. FORWARD” will provide a clear and systematic perspective to problem solution and epitomizes his philosophy of choosing to live life to its abundance. Currently, Dr Chris Fong is pursuing his second doctorate in Professional Studies with the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
