2 Day Workshop in Talent Management - From Strategy to Execution

Aligning talent strategy with organisational mission, values and business objectives is a significant enabler of sustainable competitive advantage for all types of organisations. Engaging senior leadership participation is an important key to success when developing talent strategies that align with business strategies.

Typically, senior leadership understanding and interest in human capital and talent management varies within the organisation. Lead by the Head of the Organisation, a plan of work must be prepared to engage all of the senior leadership in formulating and making decisions around talent.

These two components drive organisational success through talent: senior leadership of talent strategy and alignment of talent strategies with business needs.

This course provides participants with an opportunity to understand and apply a framework for business and talent strategy alignment to their organisation. Following an initial analysis of their own organisation, participants will select a case to work on through the course that most closely aligns with their organisation.

Using the case selected, participants will analyse business strategies, develop appropriate talent strategies, and identify the key supporting steps for stakeholder engagement required for successful talent strategy development.

Through experience, this course enables participants to develop a practical understanding of the key factors and processes necessary for developing a talent strategy that meets the needs of their organisation.
