Advanced Security Management and Certified Protection Professional (CPP®) Review Program
Certified Protection Professional

The Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation is awarded to experienced security practitioners who have demonstrated in-depth knowledge and management skills in eight key areas of security. Those who have earned the CPP are ASIS board-certified in security management.

Established in 1977, the CPP is widely acknowledged as the highest recognition of security professionals. The credential is given to individuals who have demonstrated expertise in security management principles, concepts, technology, and best practices. This designation provides independent confirmation of a practitioner's ability to assume leadership responsibilities and address broad security concerns. (Source: ASIS International)
